Who We Are
Across The Boards - Making Nottinghamshire Theatre for All.
Across The Boards has its purpose firmly rooted in the belief that theatre is and should be for everyone to participate in and enjoy; regardless of ability, experience or circumstance.
Built on a solid foundation of friendship and love of live performance we endeavour to create a welcoming and creative space to inspire and develop individuals of all ages and together as a collective community group.
Our Approach
01.
— We Believe...
Everyone deserves the opportunity to access and participate in theatre.
02.
— We Create...
Inclusive and welcoming spaces for people of all ages and backgrounds in Nottinghamshire.
03.
— We Empower...
Children and adults to explore their creativity and build confidence through performing arts.
04.
— We Remove...
Barriers to accessibility so that theatre is open to all.
05.
— We Nurture
Talent and support individual growth at every stage of the creative journey.
06.
— We Use...
Theatre as a tool to foster connection, joy, and community—both on and off the stage.
